Aftercare Application Form

Rules and Regulations

The nursery school/aftercare opens at 06h30am and closes at 6h00pm. Please make alternative arrangements if you are to be late and advise us as to who will fetch your child if you are unable to do so personally. Fines will be levied for late departures at R10.00 per minute after 6h00pm (this will go towards overtime for the responsible staff members).

All school fees must be paid by the 3rd of each month and are payable in advance. New enrollments will only be accepted after proof of payment for the first month has been received. Please see the fee structure in the entrance hall or office. Our fees may increase annually in January. The school is registered with ITC Transunion and may have you black-listed for non-payment. You will be notified of outstanding fees, and if it is not settled, your child will not be allowed to attend school until fees are settled.

The nursery school will accommodate aftercare children during school holidays as per the nursery school opening times. The nursery school/ aftercare facility closes between Christmas and New Year. We will close at 12h00 on 15 December and re-open on 3 January 2024.

A tuck shop is open daily for aftercare students and on Friday’s for nursery school students. This is over and above the daily meals and drinks provided.

Please discourage your child from bringing toys to school. We are not responsible for the damage or loss thereof. With your and other children’s safety in mind, we regret no beads will be allowed in hair.

All belongings should be clearly marked. A lost and found draw is available in the entrance hall.

If your child is on medication, it is to be given to the teacher with instructions in the mornings and not left in your child’s bag.

Please notify us immediately if there are any changes to your addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, etc.

It is imperative to obtain a security tag needed to open the front gate. For security reasons, parents are not to allow other persons into the front gate, especially if they do not know them.

No refunds will be paid for absenteeism due to illness, holidays, or if the Health Department closes the school due to infectious diseases.

Communication from the school mainly takes place via Whatsapp – it is recommended if you want to keep up to date with school events and news. An open-door policy is encouraged – please discuss any issues with us. Private appointments can be arranged in advance with the principal if needed.
