Our Story
Comaro Valley Nursery School was established in 1995 by the Morland family. The current staff collectively has more than 60 years of experience at the school, ensuring it’s success.
We provide a safe and fun environment for your children to learn and grow each day. Our school hours allow you to drop your children off before work and to fetch them after work as our operating hours are from 6:30am to 6:00pm from Monday to Friday. We pride ourselves of the fact that some of our current parents were enrolled at the school in their early years.
We welcome you to the Comaro Valley family.

Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging early learning environment that effectively supports the diverse needs of children and families in our community.

Meet Our Teachers

Principal / Teacher
Devirani Naidoo:
Coming from working a typical 9 to 5 job, I always knew deep down that teaching toddlers was my true calling. The decision to pursue my passion led me to become a Qualified Early Childhood Practitioner through UNISA. There is something incredibly special about guiding babies and toddlers through their earliest stages of learning and development. Their boundless curiosity, innocence and eagerness to explore the world around them inspire me every day. Teaching young children is not just about imparting knowledge, it is about fostering a love for learning that will last a lifetime. Teaching young children is not just my job, it is my purpose. It brings me great happiness to know that I am making a positive impact on their lives, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to thrive. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their journey and look forward to many more years of nurturing young minds.

I'm Liesel Visagie, and I’m passionate about working with young children during the most important years of their development. As a preschool teacher, I believe in creating a warm, nurturing, and playful environment where every child feels safe, loved, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Whether we’re singing songs, reading stories, or learning through art and play, I strive to make each day fun, educational, and filled with positive memories. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of each child’s journey and to work closely with families to support their growth and development every step of the way.

Karin Bredenkamp
Teaching has been my passion for the last 34 years. Even though I've always been motivated to work as a nursery school teacher, starting to see the children's growth and development has further strengthened my commitment. I am passionate about teaching and strive to treat each child individually as I firmly believe that my top priority is to nurture and support every student. I enjoy interacting with my students, learning from them and assisting them in understanding any course material. I also enjoy it when they recognize the relevance of what they are learning in their daily lives. I make sure to always develop my teaching techniques while I'm in the classroom. I think that my energy, optimistic outlook, and my practical experience dealing with children makes me an excellent teacher.
